People ask me what a Personal Breakthrough with me looks like, what we do, how it works. So here goes.
Firstly, we spend about 30-45 mins, (this is free), going through some questions to establish exactly what it is you want to work on and I explain exactly how I work as the process is an alternative and different to traditional counselling. Then I set some tasking for you such as a journal entry emailed to me daily (used for weight loss or quitting smoking) or reading of a small book and writing me a short book report, depending on the issue to be addressed. Then once you have sent me your tasking and paid for the appointment, (these are your commitments to change), we set an appointment time. The process called a breakthrough takes 8-10 hours and this is done either as a full day followed up with a half day or three half days.
At the first appointment, we go through some more questions to find the “Primary Concern”. This is the emotional issue underlying your problem. We then start using techniques such as Time Line Therapy® and Hypnotherapy to address this and remove any negative emotions (anger, sadness etc) and limiting beliefs (I’m not good enough, I don’t deserve to do well etc) attached to this. This is a process sort of like a guided meditation, where I talk you through going back on your time line to an event where you recognise the learnings and release the negative emotion or limiting belief. Deep down we all have these negative emotions and limiting beliefs and may or may not recognise them without support.
Depending on the issue we can spend several sessions, up to 10 hours in total, and that is all we will need to deal with it. A Personal Breakthrough is usually completed over a full day, 9.30 - 3.30 approx, with a foloowup a couple of weeks later of a half day. If needed further appointments will be scheduled until the process is complete.
Each session is tailored to the individual and their needs.
